Greetings. I am Hossein Sabbaghi and today in this article I intend to write a little about techno music for you, so that it is both an interesting review of good memories of the past and information about this type of music in Iran.
Techno music is a form of electronic dance music. Which in the past was mostly used for aerobic exercise. The history of this music in the world is related to the eighties, and today we have nothing to do with the world history of this type of music, and we pay more attention to the history of this type of music in Iran. The culmination of this type of music in Iran was between 1999 and 2004, so that the works of world-famous artists were widely distributed in the form of original cassette tapes (licensed and unlicensed). And it reached its peak in the 1999 and 2004. At that time, this type of music (techno) was mostly used in bodybuilding clubs and had become a signature for sports such as parkour and gymnastic movements. Hence, even the name of these two sports was known as “techno dance” among the Iranian people. And for me, this style was very interesting.
I remember in the early eighties there was software that was used for such styles and this collection was called eJay and it included several versions for different styles of music which can be called Dance Ejay and Techno Ejay for “Dance” style. “Electronic” and “Techno”, also known as “Dance DJ”, were popular among composers and producers of non-verbal-electronic style at the time because of the software’s beautiful and user-friendly playlist; But the very limited tools of this software caused the composer to migrate to another software after a while!
Good; Going back to the memories of techno music in Iran: Techno cassette tapes were accompanied by a small pocket tape recorder known as the Walkman. It was named after Sony’s Walkman pocket stereo recorder, which was used for any type of pocket audio player. in those days there was a walkman And several AA batteries in everyone’s house.
How much I enjoyed writing this, it was like a time travel… Remember…
Thank you very much for being here, I hope you enjoyed it, in the next articles I will try to write more about the history of electronic music in Iran, please write your opinion in the comments section. You can also search the site to link to other content with the same topics
